ANTICHELLO AMARONE 2013 and 2014 75CL (15%)
Made with 70% Corvina and Corvinone, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara grapes from the hills of Fumana (Verona).
After the harvest, the grapes are left for about 3 months to dry out and then soft-pressed. Fermentation is long and is carried out at seasonal temperature.
The Amarone is then aged for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrel by 20-30-50 hl and 6 months in bottle.
It shows a deep rube red colour verging to garnet.
On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruit and dried figs, spicy and balsamic notes.
On the mouth, it is delicate and well-balanced with soft-tannins. Fresh, savoury, fruity and persistent.
